UPCOMING EVENTS:

  • Adult Christian Training (ACT) Classes begin next Sunday evening, Feb 21st (from 6:15 to 7:30 pm)
    • "2 Peter” by Lars Anderson and Steve Faulkner
    • “Spiritual Gifts” by Michael Smith
    • “Parenting Teenagers” by Drew Miller and Paul Scrabeck
    • “Assumptions that Affect our Lives” by Mike Kinder 
  • Upcoming ACT Classes (Sunday eve from 6:15 to 7:30 - see specific start / end dates). Signups for these ACT classes are required  (on the table in the foyer by the nametags).
    • “The Lives and Writings of Christian Saints – William Cowper & John Paton” by Jordan Stark [Mar 7 - Mar 28]
    • "Grace Based Parenting of Grade-Schoolers" by Lars Anderson [Apr 11 - May 9]
  • 2010 Missionary Orientation Program (through CMML ministries):  June 12-18 in Pennsylvania.  If you are interested, contact the office for more information.




ANNOUNCEMENTS:

  • Sunday School Help:
    • Beginning Feb 21st we need a helper in the Preschool 2 class for the 3rd & 4th Sundays of each month through the spring.  Beginning in April we will need another weekly helper for the same class.
    • In planning our move to two services, we will need lots of helpers and teachers. The official sign up is in March, so be thinking and praying about your involvement.
  • Grace International Prayer/Fast Chain: We are halfway through the first quarter of 2010. Sign up today in the foyer for the unfilled dates in February and March.
  • King Soopers Cards Reminder: Proceeds go directly into the Deacons Fund to help those in need!  See Bill & Paula Leopold in the foyer.

I.   Four stipulations for proper participation in the Lord’s Supper.
   
    a.   #1- The Lord’s Supper requires participation in a worthy      manner (11:27-32).


    b.   #2- The Lord’s Supper requires self-examination
        (11:28, 31).


    c.   #3- The Lord’s Supper requires ‘discerning the     body.’ (11:29).


    d.   #4- The Lord’s Supper requires the consideration of others     (11:33-34).
