- There has never been a more needy time for the Indonesian Prayer Chain in the history of the Indonesian assemblies than 2012. Please consider standing in the gap this year for the churches in Indonesia by joining the Prayer Chain. Sign up at the table downstairs in the foyer or for more information. You can pick up a copy of GRACE WARFARE prayer guide even if you don’t sign up for the PRAYER CHAIN . Contact Jeff Pletcher at 303-850-0713 or pletchermail@cs.com. Now that the Indonesians are all on their own, they face many of the following challenges:
- Reduced and overworked staff as result of loss of foreign missionaries & unity problems.
- Strained budgets as result of inflation
- Village assemblies without team leadership and sill awaiting appointed elders.
- A reduced number of prospective students for the training center discipleship program.
- Persecution, particularly in East Java, where local authorities oppose the gospel.
- Discouragement local church unity, financial burdens, & medical strains on their families.
- Temptation to maintain the status quo rather than reaching out to villages with gospel.
